With the guidance of a single owner, this company has been hand-crafted to fit the needs of many local and regional businesses in Missouri, Arkansas, & Kentucky. With staff working behind the scenes to manage reports, files, new information, and extensively trained staff on the phones at all times, our technology and resources help us reach your goals.
Mrs. Allen began her career working for a CPA firm in the computer department. She was a founding member of the IBM Users Group of Central Missouri & Mid-Missouri Telecommunications Association, She also served locally as the president of DPMA-an organization for IT professionals.
In reverse of the norm, her career selected her. It began with a programming assignment for a 3rd party collection agency. It turned into a position in the Administrative Department, and quickly advanced to Office Manager, Vice President, and President of the company. Over 20 years, the company grew from 10 to over 100 employees and sold to a national firm. Mrs. Allen transitioned to a New York-based healthcare firm but quickly realized the Missouri market needed the services of a smaller, full-service collection firm.
In August of 2008, Hawthorn Recovery Services Inc., was founded, and within 10 years it has earned the business of over 100 clients in Missouri, Arkansas, and Kentucky.
Consistent with past commitment to community and volunteering, the President remains active in several civic and women’s organizations and serves as a Committee Chair for Greater Heartland HFMA. She holds Scholar and Fellow designations for continuing education, various certifications in her field through ACA International and is Past President of the Missouri Chapter of the organization.
